Nothing is going right. I have writers block re: assignments, no space at home, and an absent boyfriend. Nothing nice to say today, so I will say nothing at all.

Today was great. Then it rained.
Today I had some lunch time pizza express action with my beautiful Traish - sadly there is no refinement in our dining style; inhale as quickly as possible was the order of the day, served up with a big fat wedge of indigestion for the rest of the afternoon…painful. Maybe one day we will have a leisurely food date…? One can certainly dream.

Today is a good day! I have finally had the time to pick up my fiddle, and I’ve made a mid January resolution to work really hard on a studies book and hopefully have nailed the whole lot by the summer. Ambitious??
Ma and Pa have vacated the house today, so I’m also finally able to make some real progress with my uni work - RELIEF to say the least. I’ve been doing more research...

River Cottage & High Fashion
Today has been…cathartic. My work goals have not been achieved, however I have (finally!) bought the River Cottage Everyday book, and the latest edition of Vogue.
Added to this I caught up on the new series of 90210 (go on…judge away), braved an episode of ‘One born every minute’ (emotional to say the least, certainly wasn’t expecting that!) and then watched Doc...

I remember this kid when we watched Brontide at Truck…he was air drumming along to Will while sitting on his Pa’s shoulders.

Last saturday and something just after midnight we finished recording all the parts for our debut album. Now it is in the hands of the talented and hard working Jason Sanderson to mix the monsterous amount of tracks into the finished product. We are, to say the least VERY happy with what we have…

I’ve finally made a plan for all my deadlines, each assignment has one day only and today is the turn of the dissertation proposal.
I’m actually feeling quite optimistic about it - hopefully by this time tomorrow it will be done and I won’t have to waste anymore beautiful life on it!

New Starter
It’s been a nice weekend in some ways - doing the usual walking the pooch (for what feels like) a million times a day, and having nice proper chats with Ma. Working yesterday was mighty bad, and made worse by the fact that the boy was off being a rock star and finishing the album recording, although I am so excited to hear it…eeeek!
